Fall and Spring Study: The Rise of the Lord's Anointed:

Studies in 1 and 2 Samuel

Spring: begins January 19

Childcare deadline: January 10

Join women of all ages and stages and we take an in-depth look into 1and 2 Samuel, which tell the stories of the people and events from the beginning of the monarchy to David's final years. We all have an intrinsic love for stories, and because God is the Supreme Storyteller, we will spend this year reveling in the wonderful stories of these books as we see their place in God's big gospel story unfold. John Piper says, "We are people of a Book," and the stories of 1 and 2 Samuel remind us of the greatness of His story and the grace that has revealed it to us.

Women gather together for small group time where they review their questions and answers to that week's study. These small groups are also a place to form relationships and grow in community through prayer. The groups focus on applying the scripture which they new studied to their own life situations. After the small-group time, the groups gather for the lecture. There are two luncheons each semester which offer additional time for fellowship.
